Q: I need Live Scan fingerprinting for a job requirement, can you do that?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you have FBI Cards?
A: Yes.
Q: I need Live Scan fingerprinting done with is required by another province, can you do that?
A: Yes.
Q: How long does the whole fingerprinting process take with your company?
A: Appointments are usually completed in 15 minutes or less. Processing Times are usually 1 to 6 weeks.
Q: How soon can I get an appointment with your company when I call?
A: We can usually book an appointment the same day and sometimes within the same hour.
Q: What do I need to bring with me when I get fingerprinted?
A: You need to bring 2 pieces of ID, one of which must have a photograph (Driver’s License and Birth Certificate or Passport or Healthcare Card.)
Q: What forms of ID are acceptable?
A: You MUST bring in two pieces of Government Issued Identification that includes both your name and date of birth such as: Driver’s License, Alberta I.D. Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, Landed Immigrant Status Card, Citizenship Card, Native Status Card or Alberta Health Care Card. If you DO NOT have appropriate I.D. at your appointment we will be unable to fingerprint you.
NOTE: Temporary (paper) Driver’s License is not considered Identification and cannot be used as such. Please bring another piece of Government Issued Picture I.D. or reschedule your appointment when your new Driver’s License has been received.
Q: I have very dry hands or flat fingerprints, what do you suggest I use to produce clear prints?
A: Wash your hands with warm water and a dishwashing liquid and remove any dead skin using a scrubbing pad. Dry your hands and apply a good moisturizing lotion. Repeat daily for 2 to 3 days prior to your appointment.
